Alison lives and works in Sussex and draws most of her inspiration from her immediate surroundings
Her formal education began at the Kent Institute of Art and Design where she graduated in Design and Illustration.She then gained an MA in Sequestial Design and Illustration at Brighton University. Alison's working life has been centred around working as a designer and illustrator in advertising.
Mainly working in oils on canvas, Alison also enjoys experimenting with other techniques and media.As well as her distinctive style of land and seascapes, Alison is an accomplished muralist and portrait painter and has completed many private commissions.
After a recent spell in Meribell where she found the landscape breathtaking, she completed several paintings on that theme
