Colin Halliday

Born in Carlisle in 1964, Colin studied at Cumbria College of Art & Design before graduating BA(hons) in Fine Art at Exeter University.He lived and worked as a self eployed artist in London for several years before moving to Derbyshire in 2005.Inspired by his surroundings Colin produces paintings based on actual places, his landscapes showing his intuitive sense of style, colour and technique. His paintings can be highly emotive and dramatic

Colin's work has appeared on the cover of Art of England. He has completed several public commissions and has work in many private collections.Colin has exhibited widely in the U.K continually since graduation.
