Colin Merrin was born in the East End of London but now lives and works in East Sussex. The urban landscape however remains at the heart of his painting.After studying at Maidstone College of Art and Kingston Polytechnic he graduated with a Masters from the University of London in 1998. Colin has worked as an animator,book illustrator and illustrative editor before teaching life drawing at a college in Essex. His career has taken him all over the world and ha is able to translate this worldy observation into his paintings.He is an associate member of the RSW.
