Oliver Warman is a graduate of Balliol College, Oxford and former member of the Welsh Guards. He first exhibited in the Royal Society of British Artists (RBA) in 1980, at the Royal Academy, the RWA, NEAC, the Royal Society of Marine Artists (RSMA) in 1984 and the Royal institute of Oil Painters (ROI) in 1985. His work is in collections throughout the world including the Royal Family, The Emir of Kuwait, the Sultan of Oman, the Crown Princess of Persia, Shell UK, the British Embassy in Stockholm and Rio de Janeiro. USA Embassy in London, and he exhibits regularly in Gothenburg, Dusseldorf and Munich. Oliver Warman was awarded the ROI Gold Medal in 1996 and the Gourlay Prize in 1997. He was elected one of the four Officers of the ROI in 1998, and he was a committee member in the British institution at the Royal Academy between 1987-1997 and the Royal Society of British Artists (RBA) between 1988-1995. He holds numerous high ranking positions in many charities and educational institutions. Currently he runs art courses in Oxfordshire for experienced painters and lecturers in the UK and Germany on Fine Art and Battlefields. He is presented in the Who's Who of British Artists and Debrett's People of Today.
